"It's an amazing feeling. So many years of hard work," Ohno said.

"I wanted to wait as long as possible because I knew there would be a lot of traffic," Ohno said. "I set up the Korean real nice and he came over on me hard."

"I've got a bull's eye on my back"

"Just make me a machine!"

"They can just throw me in the desert and bury me," Ohno said. "I got a gold medal. I'm good now."

"I took a chance, stayed in the back, relaxed and saved some energy," Ohno said.

"I waited for the right time to move, and it worked out," Ohno said. "I just did my best, and I shined like a star."

"It's something I've come to expect," he said. "People are going to ask questions no matter what the outcome."

"I'm not worried," Ohno said. (after receiving 16000 threatening emails from South Korea)

"Mentally, it just throws you off."

"A four-gold medal sweep looks almost impossible," added Ohno.

"If I make one mistake, if I'm .01 of a second late in a pass, the race is over. "

"It's definitely unfortunate," Ohno said. "It would be more exciting to have them toe to toe."

"No words, no words, Oh my God, an unbelievable feeling," Ohno said. "I just feel so good. I come here, perform my best and get a gold medal -- there's nothing better than that."
